Aspire lets you assign a subjective importance to each item in the workspace.
To change an item's importance, select the item and then use the increase or decrease importance items in the toolbar or the "Items" menu. The Up and Down arrow keys will also let you adjust the importance.
Items that are more important will appear bigger, while others that are less important will appear smaller. This makes it more visually obvious that you should concentrate on the more important items.
Importance is always relative to other items at the same "level". Changing the importance of a goal will change its size compared with other goals. Changing the importance of an obstacle will change its size compared with other obstacles of the same goal. Changing the importance of a solution will change its size compared with other solutions for the same obstacle.
Changing an item's importance is also reflected in the items attached to it. Making a goal less important (smaller) will also shrink the appearance of any obstacles and solutions, and similarly for obstacles and their solutions. A very important solution to an unimportant goal will still take up a small amount of screen space.
