Here you start and stop time registration for the active job. If no job is currently active, you will be informed by JobTimer. You can start and stop time registration via the toolbar, too.
Time registration can be started from the Dock, from a Context menu or from the JobTimer icon in the Menu bar.
There are two ways to reach the appropriate menu in the Dock:
In the menu which appears, each job list is shown with its own area, formatted like this:
List name/file name (<- greyed out for information only)
Start (or Stop): [Name of job]
When time registration has been started for a job other than the active one, the new job becomes the active one, and any other busy time registration for this list will be stopped.
Move the mouse cursor over a Job entry. Then press Control-click (or the right mouse button). Now a Context menu opens where you can start time registration for the appropriate job.
The JobTimer icon must firstly be active in the menu bar (JobTimer > Preferences > Time Registration > System and Dock Menu). The JobTimer icon offers basically the same functions as the Dock menu, but they are much easier to access from the Menu bar.
